Mentoring helps not only the protégé (people are always searching for the right word for the person who is being mentored) but the mentor, too. I have mentored dozens of people and I always find it a rewarding experience, not only because I will go to "interpreter heaven", but because explaining the interpreting process, ethical decision making, professionalism, and business practices, solidifies my thinking on these issues. Below are some links that might be helpful. If you know of others or if you or your organization are available to be or find a mentor for someone, please email me your website at , and I will include it below.
