Zamfirov, M., Saeva, S. & Popov, T. Innovation in teaching deaf students physics and astronomy in Bulgaria. This paper presents a new strategy to be implemented in Bulgarian schools in teaching physics and astronomy to students with impaired hearing at grades 7 (13-year-old students) and 8 (14-year-old students). The strategy provides effective education for students with hearing disabilities in mainstream schools as well as for those attending specialized schools. A multimedia CD has been developed, which offers a large number of basic terms from the corresponding fields of physics and astronomy, accompanied by textual explanation and various illustrations. The terms are explained in Bulgarian, Bulgarian Sign Language and English. This multimedia product can be used by children with hearing disabilities, as well as by children without disorders.
Заболявания на вътрешното ухо Тимпаногенен лабиринтит. Възпалението на вътрешното ухо е вторично заболяване и се развива по три начина: 1. Тимпаногенен лабиринтит като услож нение на остро или хронично възпаление на средното ухо; 2. Менингогенен лабиринтит като услож нение на менингит; 3. Метастатичен лабиринтит, който се среща много рядко при инфекциозни заболя вания.

European Union of the Deaf. (2004, September). The Union of the Deaf in Bulgaria celebrates its 70th Anniversary. History goes back to the distant 1898 when the German Deaf pedagogue Ferdinand URBIH arrives in Bulgaria and lays the basis of the education of Deaf children. An eminent Bulgarian socially active man Dr. Stoyan BELINOV follows him and supports and enables the unification of hearing impaired persons. On his initiative the Society for the protection of the Deaf-Mute in Bulgaria is established, and on 12 July 1934 the constituent assembly of the Society of the Deaf-Mute in Bulgaria was held and attended by 61 delegates from around the country. The present Union of the Deaf in Bulgaria is its successor.
